Saving the Dogs Others Might Overlook
Sketchy Mutts & Underdogs is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to saving dogs at high risk of euthanasia. Many of the dogs they rescue face challenges that make finding help more difficult, including medical conditions, behavioral issues, or simply being caught in overcrowded shelter systems. Rather than turning away the hard cases, Sketchy Mutts & Underdogs steps in to give these dogs a second chance.
The rescue focuses on dogs that need an advocate, those who might otherwise be overlooked because they require extra care, training, patience, or medical attention. Their mission is simple but powerful: save lives and help every dog find a loving home.

One of the most impressive things about Sketchy Mutts & Underdogs is that it is entirely volunteer-run. Every adoption, fundraising effort, transport, foster placement, and event is made possible by people who donate their time because they believe every dog deserves a chance.
Based in Westfield and serving dogs throughout central Indiana, the organization operates primarily through a foster network, allowing rescued dogs to live in loving homes while they receive the care, training, and support they need before adoption.
